The Entrepreneurs Network powered by Imagine Monroe held TEN Connections – Graduation and Summer Networking at The Strong on August 15. This event showcased Michele Liddle, Owner of The Perfect Granola, and Michael Wilson, COO, Simulated Inanimate Models, who explained how scalable small businesses and tech startups benefit from Upstate New York’s longest running business accelerator program. TEN alum David Fuehrer, Cofounder and CEO, of GRYT, the most used app in oncology, shared how the Stupid Cancer app is connecting people in all 50 states and across 50 countries with others just like them and with information to manage their health on their own terms.
More than 100 TEN alumni, business leaders and area entrepreneurs attended, and participated in “The Happiest Hour,” an adult-only event to reintroduce the entrepreneurial community to one of the region’s largest tourist attractions: The Strong National Museum of Play.
The Strong’s spokesperson Lisa Feinstein shared how innovation is at the heart of The Strong’s attractions, which included the History of Electronic Games, the National Toy Hall of Fame, the World Video Game Hall of Fame and numbers collections devoted to the study and exploration of play.
